I recently took a Honda Prelude to Civic Motors (Hona Dealership) in Ottawa Canada for work on the transmission.

It was required to be kept for several days waiting parts and I was concerned about the stereo system inside the car as it was an expensive unit.

The dealer advised that as it was a Prelude it would be brought inside every night, the alarm on the car would be active and they had 24 hour security.

Bottom line is the car was not taken inside, the alarm was not activated, the security was a simply patrol every few hours and the entire stereo system was taken - a loss in damage to the car and stereo components of approximately $6,000.

Upon complaining to Civic Motors the Honda dealer, I was told to call my insurance company.

I tried to resolve with the owner of the dealership and was told to talk to his lawyer.

This is the last Honda I will ever own.

Business owners who demonstrate their clients are not important should try doing without them for a while!
