RE: Courtesy Ford, Bronx, NY - upset with service regarding Ford Explorer
repair
I brought my ford from Courtesy Ford in Standford FL
I am on vacation in NYC when I broke down had it towed to a Courtesy ford
BX NY by ford that when the run around started my car has been there sense
Monday 11-25-02 the dealer didn't want to do the repairs because I come
from Florida
late Monday I called him to see what he found and he dident even look
at the car so I called Ford in Dearborn Michigan for help only to get
none all they can do is file a complaint against this dealer (HA -HA)
on Tuesday this dealer told me that all ford explorer have the same defect
(a lemon maybe) and parts are on back order and it may take several weeks
to get them in but he could bootleg a part to get me out of dealership
when I called my dealer in FL they told me don't let them do it so once
again called ford in Dearborn MI they said the same thing
Now its Wednesday stuck in NYC no car no help from them warranty service
is a big joke wont even give me a loaner car QUESTION IF THIS PART KEEPS
FAILING ON ALL EXPLORER WHY DONT THEY HAVE THEM IN STOCK
