RE: Hilton Hotel, St. Petersburg, FL - ballroom not open in time for reservation - poor holiday party experiencetype your detailed complaint here....i recently had the misfortune to attend a christmas party at the st. petersburg, fl. HILTON. our party reservations read from 6-11...they did not have the ballroom open until 6.30..we had to wait in the lounge...
is this a planned excuse to have us buy drinks? the food was mediocre to poor...the beef was tough and the potatoes were hard as a rock and some had bad spots in them. we were told to wait until our table was called to join the dinner line and i saw people from the front of the room going in for seconds before we simply got up and helped ourselves...
we were never called. the ballroom was freezing cold the entire time...another ploy to get us to buy more drinks to stay warm i suspect. we did not stay long, our night out was a shambles and i will never attend another function there.
