I purchased a computer system, monitor, and printer from Hewlett Packard on 12/6/06 from an advertisement in our local newspaper. I was promised rebates totaling $180.00. I was quoted one price at the time of purchase and was charged $140.00 more. I have tried finding an actual address for this company but was unable to do so.
I have made countless telephone calls to their "representatives" and "supervisors" and have been made so many promises I have lost track. I do have notes and documents of all these conversations and e-mails. I was also promised a credit for $139.99 which I also never received.
I feel that I have been patient and compliant with their requests and still have not received what I was supposed to.
I have been jerked around by this company since day one.
Yesterday I filed a complaint with my state attorney general's office.
I am not a happy customer and would recommend that people do not do business with this company. I certainly will never make that mistake again.
