negative information. We send cease and desist letters and if necessary,

Wedding Cake

On Nov. 12, 2005 my wedding day, we got the wedding cake that we had ordered at Payard Bistro in NYC that was not fresh pastry/cream and 30% the (CHOUX) were empty. On Nov. 14, 2005 my husband and I went to the Bistro and complained to Mr. Clodung the manager who after leaving for two minutes came back apologizing and confirming to us that yes there was something wrong with the cake and Mr. Payard was offering us $100. Certificate to use at the Bistro that we refused. Also we were charged $50. extra after I had seen the price and confirmed by one the staff, Mr. Maciej. We felt insulted by them because it was our wedding a special day and they seemed not to care by not showing any remorse, compassion or respect. I wrote a letter on Nov. 30, and on Dec. 2, at 10:57am Mr.Payard called offering half the money on a gift certificate, again we refused to play his game. I asked if it was of my last name they thought they could fool us since it was a French wedding cake. Most of my guests were French and the others also had tasted CHOUX before. There are other people who have experience similar problem with Payard Bistro.
Since Dec. 2, I have not heard from Mr. Payard, and my husband and I have been waiting patiently.
