Along with other posted complaints, I can verify that access to people that you need to help resolve issues that EMC makes is not existent and it seems that they are strictly trained to defer you. My issue is a simple mistake on their part of how they applied a payment. My credit is perfect (700+ on all three even with this issue) other than a 30 day late EMC posted because of their error. I spoke with several people, faxed and wrote letters and still have no resolution and this is from January of 2007. I have a number of loans with them (EMC bought them from other banks) and EMC by far is the worst. I own well over 100,000 sq. ft. of real estate across the country and over 150 units and I can tell you from my experience they seem to have no regard for "customer service".
Stay away from EMC at all costs!
