On August 21, 2006, I ordered 12 remanufactured Inkjet Cartridges from an online company by the name of EZinkjets.com.
The website declared that items would ship within 1 to 2 days.
After a week, I decided to check the order through a tracking link provided by EZ inkjets. It showed that my order had been shipped.
I waited 4 more days, but still did not recive my order.
I tried EZinkjets supposed online chat. It was obvious most of the responses were generic; and when I finally was able to reach a live body,
He claimed he did not have access to any information that would help me.
On September 1, 2006, I checked the charges on my credit card only to find that EZinkjets had charged my credit card on August 21, the day that I had placed my order. I have been told that credit card companies expect to be charged when the order has shipped.
I called the customer service number provide by EZinkjets; the first time I was on hold for 40 or so minutes before I hung up.
I tried again couple of times and was immediately put on hold.
I finally tried again and when I was asked to hold, I stated I was preparing to find other ways of addressing the issue.
Needless to say, the Customer Service Rep amazingly had time to talk. I was told that the items that I had ordered were not in stock, and they were waiting for backorders. I asked about the fact that my credit card was charged on the day the order was placed, and that their tracking site showed that the order had shipped.
I told the rep that I wished to cancel the order and wanted the charges refunded. The Rep said that I should wait 6 weeks for this to show up on my credit card
statement.
Today is September 21, 2006. The charge is still showing up on my credit card statement, and no one from EZinkjets has attempted to communicate with me in any way. They do not, incedently, had an e-mail address that is accessible on their website.
