I visited Home Depot at the following address:
Brinkman store
999 West North Loop
Houston, TX 77008

the afternoon of 12/26/05. Because I could find no one to help me I asked for the store manager.
Store manager took less than 5 minutes to show me a few things and said that he had no other recommendations.

I then wondered around the same store looking for someone else to help me. When I found no help, I walked over to a cashier who was counting
money, and asked her to page someone. After a few minutes she pointed out a man walking by and said to go over to him, as he was the one
she called to help me.

I immediately walked over to this man named "Larry" and said the lady had paged him to help me. He barked back and I quote, "I am not here to help you, lady" and
I just stood there shocked. The cashier heard him say this to me and called over a couple of people who she works with, and told them, as she laughed. I did not find any
of this funny.

One of the Home Depot employees she was gossiping with asked if she could help me, and she did.

I tried all afternoon (12/27/05) to call customer service/complaint department to no avail. Not only was "Ray" rude to me, he hung up on me. After calling once again, I was told by a
woman who would not give me her name, that if I asked once more for a manager, she was going to hang up on me. Well, she hung up on me.

When there are places like Lowe's, which offer much more professional customer service and help in their stores, maybe it's time for a huge corporation like Home Depot that
customers are NOT going to accept such disrepectful treatment. Good-bye Home Depot, and hello Lowe's! At this time, with the economy as it is, customer service is more
than important. No one has called me back, so I guess Home Depot cares not about their women customers.
