Next Complaint # 24 for October 31, 2003 Complaint Repair received the following on October 30, 2003: From: AJYAP@aol.com RE: AOL - charged 95 Pounds for installation and modem - this was supposed to be free Hi, I e-mailed a complaint [to AOL] on the 22 October 2003 after being deducted £95 from my credit card for free installation and modem for broadband. I contacted your freephone and they appologised and asked me to forward my credit card statement with this deduction shown to a free fax line which I did on the 22nd October 0800 2798044. I resent on the 27/10/03 because I have had no reply. You are supposed to be a World class communication company and yet you do not answer either my e-mail or faxes, I am totally disgusted with the way you have handled this problem and I now question whether I want to be a AOL member. Please reply and at least let me know what is happening as I am one very disgruntled customer. Yours sincerely, Anthony N Yapp
